Record-breaking Audience at TATRA SUMMIT 2015!

Management of the refugee crisis, preservation of EU's integrity and a more effective construction of the Energy Union were all dominating topics of last year's TATRA SUMMIT held in Bratislava on 4-6 November 2015. We had the honour to hear keynote speeches by Slovak President Andrej Kiska, Eurogroup President Jeroen Dijsselbloem and two EC vice-presidents, Maroš Šefčovič and Valdis Dombrovskis.

High importance was also attributed to the presence of Mr David Lidington, UK's Minister for Europe – mainly due to the forthcoming referendum on the country's membership in the EU.

The economic dimension of TATRA SUMMIT was highlighted in the speech of one of its founders – State Secretary of the Slovak Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Mr Ivan Korčok. The conference took place amidst the ongoing existential crisis of the EU, which was also addressed by Róbert Vass, CEO of Central European Strategy Council.

A large part of the discussions revolved around the upcoming Slovak presidency of the EU Council.

All in all, over 700 individual participants from more than 35 European nations attended TATRA SUMMIT 2015. The full summary is now available here or download below.
